MOAA membership is open to anyone who holds or has ever held a commission or warrant in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Surviving spouses of individuals who were eligible for membership are also encouraged to participate in Chapter activities (see surviving spouse tab for details).
The Military Officers Association of America is a membership driven organization. When you join at the national MOAA you will also be given a choice to join a local chapter. We encourage you to select the MOAA Birmingham Chapter and become one of us.
